oversee lounge/bistro/front desk. work with general manager on rate structure/sales payroll

As Banquet Captain I am resposible for setting up banquets and other events based on an order slip provided to me by the hotels sales office. I'm also responsible for maitaining the meeting rooms and ballrooms, training new hires, and directing other banquet servers during events.

I supervise up to 3 events at 1 time, Manage serving staff & bussing staff. Coordinate with planning and the Chef. Book events and handle questions from the host. Research bands for our events, promotions, sales, financial and advertising.

specializing in setting up corporate events in store, 2 major events held each yr as well as setting up events geared toward children during summertime.

Meet with clients to determine what type of event they want. Discuss budget and what it is they would like to see happen at the event and go from there.

Provide support to various VPs and staff, mainly travel, presentations, scheduling. Also coordinate staff and company events to include trade shows, annual meetings, vendor award shows, etc.

Supervise 3-4 front desk agents, payroll and scheduling for front desk, covering manager on duty shifts, participating in resort MOD pregram, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Keep the front office running at 100%. Guest satisfaction is the number one goal. Also work with other departments to ensure guest services are running at full capacity. Hiring and coordination of desk clerks, night audit, and bellman.

Provide support to 2 directors. Answer phones and take messages. Also assist in planning events.

I am a manager there, looking after everyone and making sure everything is running smoothly. I am responsible for the pay roll also.

CHECK IN GUESTS/CHECK OUT GUEST/RUN NIGHT AUDIT

Oversee all aspects of the company. Interview, hire, pay, and fire when necessary employees. Work with clients to ensure a successful meeting or convention. Negotiate with clients to determine what amenities they wish to have, then negotiate with the center(s) being used to fulfil those desires. Try to keep my team from getting too bogged down with any one event that they can't prepare for additional ones and keep them from stressing when problems occur at the last minute.

Greet and welcome guests to resort, offer luggage assisstance and valet. Retrieve parked vehicles. Retrieve and store luggage.
